Open Day Sunday 30th June 2013 from 10 am -2 pm
Dear Members of DTSC
The club is holding an Open Day on Sunday June 30th with the intention of allowing visitors to see what is available at our club, encourage them to join as members, and ultimately grow club membership. We are keen to create a fun and busy occasion for the local community to showcase our venue.
All current members (including Day) are cordially invited to attend the event and are asked to inform and bring along, if possible, their friends and neighbours who may be interested in trying out the facilities or hopefully joining the club.
There will be many activities to enjoy including a chance to play on both tennis and squash courts with prospective members, try out cardio sessions, partake in mini competitions, watch exhibition matches, appreciate a free back massage (!) and for a small price, enjoy BBQ food, cakes & coffee/tea and drinks from the bar.
You may already have seen an Open Day banner and posters up at the club. Flyers advertising the event are being distributed to most homes in Dorchester and Poundbury so there should be quite a few interested people on the day.
This is where you come in.
In addition to telling your friends and attending yourself, we are also looking for volunteers before and on the day to undertake various tasks.
Our club is members run and managed so please sign up to help by either speaking to or emailing the club’s administrator, Adam or directly to me - Ros Clark at alrosclark@gmail.com , as I am coordinating the event. There is no need to stay for the whole event if you are short of time but do we will need lots of helpers on the day, so even a few hours of your time will suffice.
In addition the club is offering an incentive of £10 to be added to your lights account if you introduce someone who later joins up and tells us you introduced them.
