The bi-annual Peter Cox Tournament will be taking place at DTSC on Bank Holiday Mon May 6th 2013. This is a handicap tournament with the emphasis on fun. It is suitable for all abilities and due to a unique handicapping system all players have an equal chance of winning. More importantly there will be lots of tennis to play and, with a break for lunch, lots of socialising to be done! Originally this fun day was organised for adults in memory of a much loved member, Peter Cox, who was the epitome of a great social player.

As there are a limited number of places (24), priority will be given to Adult members although Juniors are more than welcome if there is space. There will be a small fee of £3 to cover the cost of balls and prizes. Please bring along something towards a ‘pot-luck’ lunch, like salad, cold meats, cheeses, dips or a dessert. There is a sign-up sheet at the club or you can email the Club Administrator on
