This years Christmas Quiz was held on 5th December at DTSC. 60+ folk crammed into the club and had a great evening, lots of fun, some banter about the questions & answers, lots of money went across the bar, a great ploughmans dinner accompanied by mince pies and chocolate. Many thanks to Al & Ros Clark who organised the event and all those who helped with the food etc (you know who you are), to Jane & Vince who wrote all the questions which made my & Janet's job of running the quiz much much easier.

The results were:

  • 1st - New Balls Please - 90pts
  • 2nd= - The Bloomsbury Set & Sweet Pie of Mine - 88pts
  • 3rd= - Blood Sweat & Beers & The Braindeers - 86pts
  • 4th= - Merry Quizmas & The Japanese All Stars - 85pts
  • 5th -  The Deuce Bags - 84pts
  • 6th - The Infiltrators - 76pts
  • 7th - We're Here for the Ploughmans - 69pts
