In the recent torrential rain, we’ve had another ingress of water to the club via the tennis court door. As a temporary solution, the tennis court door will be locked and a temporary barrier fixed in place to prevent any further water ingress whilst a permanent solution is sought.
Please continue to use the side gate to access the tennis courts, but if you enter the clubhouse after playing tennis for any reason please change your shoes and do not drag any sand from the court along the path to the club or onto the clubhouse stairs. Any sand that gets into the club may get onto the indoor courts and ruin the surface.
If you do accidentally drag sand onto the path or steps, or inadvertently bring sand inside please ensure you brush it up/vacuum it up immediately to prevent any damage to your club.
