Dear Members,

The Prime Minister gave the go ahead this week for the next stage of easing the lockdown. This means that we are delighted to be able to reopen the indoor courts from 9am on Monday 12th April. Adam will reactivate the front door fob when he arrives at work on that day. Initially, following the guidelines from England Squash this will only mean solo practice or coaching for most people, but members of the same household or support bubble will be able to play full matches.

Full details of what members can and can’t do are on this poster.

As before, due to the limitations imposed on the indoor courts, for the duration of these restrictions, solo squash/racketball players wishing to practice will only be charged the basic court booking fee of £1.70.

Please comply with all the rules and make sure you register using the NHS Test & Trace App QR Code* if you come to the club. These restrictions will be in place until at least May 17th when we hope the go ahead will be given to fully open the indoor courts and bar.

* Please note that NHS COVID-19 app users can now share their venue history via the app with public health authorities if they test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). This will be used to help other visitors to the venue to be warned that they may be at risk if multiple visitors have tested positive since visiting the venue. Venue names and details will not be shared in these alerts.
