Please can all members read the reminders below about Covid-19 rules, court and club etiquette, Squash/Racketball Leagues and the Annual Tennis Tournament.

1. General Covid-19 rules and wearing masks around the club.
Dorset remains in Tier 1 and so that we do our bit to keep it that way, please all comply with the current club Covid-19 guidance, particularly in not coming to the club if you have any symptoms, good hand hygiene and in wearing masks when moving about the club (under 11 year old children don’t have to wear them, but 11 and up should wear them).

2. Preventing contamination of the indoor courts.
Tennis players should never go into the club from the court without changing or taking off their shoes. Likewise, squash and racketball players shouldn’t sit on the benches in the dirty shoe-changing area by the tennis club door as they’re likely to pick up sand on their shoes and take it back onto the indoor courts.

3. Propping the tennis court door open.
All members should keep the door closed at all times and it should never be propped open.

4. The Club Bar.
Please can everyone bring their own rehydration fluid to play squash/racketball/tennis. The drinking fountains are turned off and nobody should rely on water from the bar during games. The bar area can be used, but give people space and ensure you comply with the kitchen hygiene rules (thoroughly wash items, dry them with the blue paper towel and replace in cupboard - don’t leave to drain). Remember masks should be warn until you are sitting at a table. Only socialise with the people you came with (to a maximum of 6 people) and ensure the bar is shut by 10pm. Please remember that no guests are allowed in the clubhouse.

5. Squash/Racketball Leagues.
All participating members are reminded to check the rules for the new squash and racketball bubble leagues. Please do not book courts for league matches until you have read them.

6. Annual Tennis Tournament.
This has started well and all details are kept up to date on the website  Please can all participants ensure they pay their entry fees to Adam ASAP, complete their matches by the play by dates and then report the scores to Kevin Willemse & Al Clark.
