PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THIS AS IT APPLIES TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS

Dear Club Members,

We want to keep all of our members safe and well, whilst they enjoy the club facilities. For the last month, the Clubhouse facilities have been back in action. We want to keep it that way and this is a reminder to all members of the current Covid-19 restrictions. Please read this message and ensure you comply with all the requirements as in some cases they are legal requirements and individuals can be fined (starting at £200 for a first offence and doubling up to £6,400) and the club could be fined up to £10,000. The club and clubhouse are in clear view of passers by and we must ensure that we are seen to be complying with all of the following guidance/legal requirements.

WHAT YOU MUST DO FOR THE CLUB AND TO AVOID BREAKING THE LAW

  • Do not come to the club if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been required to self-isolate/quarantine.
  • Wash/sanitise your hands before coming to the club and on entry/departure - avoid touching surfaces where you can.
  • To comply with the latest Government, England Squash and LTA guidance, you must wear a face covering when moving about the clubhouse unless you are on court, in the shower or seated in the lounge area eating or drinking.
  • Give people space - stay at least 2m apart (or 1m apart with your face covered or other mitigations).
  • If you enter the clubhouse and your name is not on the booking system for a match, then ensure you scan the NHS Test & Trace App QR Code to register at the club.
  • When arriving for, or leaving after a match, do not mingle with anyone else.
  • Do not stand at the bar to drink - you must be seated to eat or drink.
  • Avoid sitting in groups larger than 6 (this is a legal limit and YOU and the club MUST comply with it). We have moved the furniture to allow for social distancing - please do not move it. Keep socially distanced within your group as much as possible.
  • More than 6 people are allowed in the lounge area, but in separate groups. DO NOT mingle with anyone outside your group.
  • You are not allowed to sing or dance at the club.
  • You must close the bar and finish any drinks by 10pm (this is a legal requirement and YOU and the club MUST comply with it).
