The club has three announcements:

  1. With immediate effect, following receipt of new ES guidelines, members may resume playing normal friendly games provided that they arrange games only with a maximum of five opponents each. This means playing within a group of six (to be known as a bubble). Bubbles may be changed but only if a clear week of non-play is observed by all six members.
  2. With immediate effect, members may use changing rooms and showers.
  3. With immediate effect, members may use the lounge and bar facilities. No playing or non-playing guests are allowed into the club building.

Please note that by booking a court and playing, all members accept the duty of care in terms of current Covid-19 restrictions. No member should attend the club if he or she has any symptoms or has been in contact with anyone who has. It is every member’s responsibility to inform the club in either case.

Please make every effort to follow good hygiene practice, preferably only arriving at the club in sanitised condition having travelled straight from home. Hand sanitisers are available inside the entrance door (for use when arriving and leaving). Wipes are situated outside each court. Door handles and surfaces touched should be cleaned at the end of every game. If you are going on a court that is in use, please wait in the large lobby area and allow players emerging to complete the sanitising procedure before you approach the court. Social distancing restrictions must be observed.

Court use: At this stage no competitive play is permitted. Internal leagues and tournaments cannot yet resume.

Changing rooms/showers: members should not linger in either. Please cool down elsewhere and make every effort to get in and out quickly.

Bar facilities: For hygiene reasons, no glasses or crockery may be used. Drink from cans/bottles. Disposable cups will be available for drinking water but members are requested to bring their own water/rehydration fluid so that the club can continue its eco-friendly policy as far as possible.
