Successful Open Day for Dorchester Tennis & Squash Club
Many thanks to all the members who volunteered and gave up their valuable time to help with the DTSC Open Day on Saturday 18th May in association with the LTA’s Nature Valley Big Tennis weekend. Local DJ Carl Ashwin was also in attendance with the Wessex FM car. It was a very successful day and approximately 75 people turned up, despite the dull weather, to try out all our facilities. The Open Day visitors also sampled the BBQ and refreshments provided by the members, particularly the delicious homemade cakes, so many thanks to those that manned the BBQ/Bar and made the wonderful cakes.
Two lucky guests won free membership of the club for their families, one from a draw for all those that registered for the Open Day and another from beating the buzzer in the Wessex FM game. There were also other prizes for a “Guess the Number of Balls” competition and spot prizes on the courts.
Remember to encourage your friends and family if they couldn’t make it on the day to ring Adam and book in for a free club taster sessions. As a special Open Day promotion, anyone that joins the club by Friday 14th June will receive 2 Free Months Membership and pay no joining fee.
