Thank you for entering the Annual DTSC Tennis Tournament 2020. Please find at the link, the draws for the DTSC Annual Club Tennis Championships. Each tournament has a separate page, so scroll down to see which ones you are in (Men's Singles, Ladies' Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies' Doubles & Mixed Doubles). There are play by dates for every round (18th Oct for First Round Matches), please don’t leave it and think there is plenty of time, as the Finals day in whatever format we decide, will soon come round.
Contact details for each competitor are in the member's section of the website on the Court Bookings page on the Membership List. If your own details aren't correct update them whilst you're there, just go to the Membership Details section and put your correct information in.
Finals will take place, either on a selected date or self-arranged depending on the Covid-19 restrictions in place at the time.
All matches will be the best of 3 sets. The third set will be a Championship Tie-Break to 10 points. The first and second sets will have a 7 point tie-break at 6 games all.
Each match has a play-by date. Please stick to these dates, and if you have to over run please let Kevin know, as well as the next round opponents. We know how difficult it is to get 4 people on court at the same time.
If you lose your first match (except in the Ladies' Singles) you will move into the plate event, so keep an eye on the draw sheets. You may have to wait until those with a bye in their first round have played their first match.
Please remember to bring tennis balls for each match, and book the court for 1.5- 2 hours so as not to rush it. Balls will be provided for the finals.
Please remember to pay your entry fees to Adam - the entry fees will provide balls for the Finals and Prizes for the Champions/Plate Winners.
On completion of your matches email the results to Kevin Willemse and Al Clark so we can keep up to date with the tournament and update the results on the website.
Good luck with your matches, and enjoy the tennis. Any problems please don’t hesitate to contact Kevin Willemse.
